Paid orders in your store
When a payment succeeds, the matching order is created in your Next Commerce store, already paid. Your store stays your system of record for fulfilment and customer records.
Upsells on the same order
Post-purchase upsells are added to the original order instead of starting a new one: one order, several payments.
Refunds from your store
Once your store is connected, a refund you enter in your store is sent to us and goes back to the shopper's card. A full refund you issue through Von Payments is recorded on the store order too. Refund each order from one side only.
Your store key is tested before it is saved
We check that the key works with your store before saving it. Give it the full set of permissions the setup guide lists: a key that can only read orders still connects, but cannot create them.
Three steps.
You will need a Von Payments account and admin access to your Next Commerce store.
Connect your store
In your Von Payments dashboard, open Integrations, then Connected Platforms, and choose Connect 29next. Paste your store address and an Admin API token created in your Next Commerce admin with the permissions the setup guide lists.
Add an external payment method
In your Next Commerce admin, add an external payment method under Settings, Payments, and give it a code. You enter the same code when you connect the store.
Describe the order with each payment
Your checkout sends the order's items and the shopper's details along with the payment. The setup guide lists every field.
